Today was another incredible day in Ecuador. We took some time to relax, and to enjoy the adventure of the locale.
Some of the group went with Carlos for a deep sea fishing trip. They caught several fish, and had a great day.
The other group took a tour to see the whales, and the blue footed boobies. They saw lots of whales, and lots of blue footed boobies (an exotic bird). They also ate lunch on a small island surrounded by rocks. There happened to be a rather large sea lion taking a nap on the rocks, who was less than happy to see our group. After a few barks, the sea lion settled down and ignored the group.
Tonight the group enjoyed pizza with Carlos and Jeanette in Montinita. Montinita is a small town with lots of life. There is a great opportunity for outreach there, as there are few Christians.
Please continue to pray for our group as we converse with and love on the local people. Please pray for the Ecuadorian pastors, that their joy would continue to overflow to others. Please pray for one of our interpreters this week, as it’s easy to see the Lord moving in her heart.
