GO ECUADOR Students 1
Calling all High School Students! This trip is for you! This team is designed for students who have a heart to serve, learn and experience God in a cross-cultural environment. This is a great first trip if you’ve never been on a GO Team before! Get ready to go to the Pacific coast of Ecuador where our Partners, Carlos and Jeanette Guerrero, have dedicated their lives to serving the people of these communities. The team will have the opportunity to serve and share the love of Jesus through community outreach, special events for kids and adults, attending worship services, and so much more! When you go on mission with Jesus, you never come back the same. Join us!
For more information about this trip please email the team leader, Devin Knight at email@example.com
Students must demonstrate maturity and a desire to use this opportunity to serve as a way to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Once applications are reviewed, students may be scheduled for an informal interview with a Student Pastor. Once accepted, you will be asked to submit a $100 deposit which will confirm your position on the team.
Helping Hands Across Ecuador
About Helping Hands Across Ecuador
Helping Hands Across Ecuador is Carlos and Jeanette Guerrero’s life-long commitment to serve and be a witness for the love of Christ to the beautiful people of Ecuador. They organize short-term mission trips which are spiritually fulfilling experiences. Their goal is to help improve the local villlagers’ quality of life and to strengthen their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently, there is no Holy Spirit led church in the towns of Curia and San Jose, Ecuador. Through our partner, Helping Hands Across Ecuador, strives to serve and witness to the local people with the goal of mobilizing the gathering of a local church body in this area.
Working hand-in-hand with the residents of San Jose and Curia, they strive to make a positive difference in the areas of education, hunger and health. Here are the main Helping Hands Across Ecuador projects:
They provide 3-year high school scholarships so students may break the cycle of poverty and tutor children in the community center
They provide seeds and plant vegetable gardens so families can sustain themselves better and provide free weekly dinners to approximately 40 poor community elderly folks.
They erected a Christian Center in San Jose, which hosts our community kitchen and provides the ample space to congregate, learn, and organize events.
