Hey guys! So the past couple of days post camp have been filled with some amazing sights and experiences that I’ve been so grateful to be a part of!
Yesterday we started our day off with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We met some South African friends and sang worship along the Sea as we remembered the story of Peter walking on water. Then we drove up to the top of Mount Arbel overlooking the Sea, went to visit Capernaum, and even visited the Mount of Beatitudes! I was even able to share a devotion with the group focusing on Exodus 14:10-31. I encourage you all to read that passage and see what the Lord wants to show you as you reflect on the Israelites through their time of fear and recognizing they have no control and have to give it all to God.

Today was an equally amazing day! We started our day off with a trip to Nazareth, followed by a visit to Mount Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean. At Nazareth I was able to share another devotion with the group- an excerpt from “Mended” by Angie Smith that centers on no longer comparing ourselves to others in our walks with Christ and focusing on being exactly who God wants you to be. Then, we went to Akko and got to adventure through through underground tunnels built during the Crusader times and then we traveled to Rosh HaNikra and were able to walk through sea caves near the Lebanon border followed by a quick dip in the Mediterranean!
What an amazing couple of days! As we start our journey back home tomorrow evening I will be forever grateful for the memories made here: a phenomenal youth camp, encouraging and being encouraging by our Poland Proem team, strengthening the relationships with my team, worshiping over historical sites, and experiencing some amazing views. See you all soon!!
