Today we learned all about TCM and their mission. We also toured the facilities; their use of space is truly remarkable. I am in awe of how the work that is accomplished here has the potential to bring so many people to Christ. On a daily basis, we are getting to know the staff and long term workers better and better; the passion they feel about the work that is accomplished here is so very obvious to me.
We all spent the afternoon learning our jobs. I am in the kitchen and while we worked all afternoon, it was such a pleasant endeavor because of the fellowship we experienced while in the kitchen. We have awesome leaders – Theo and Jim – and they taught us well. It was such an educational experience. The students will arrive tomorrow and we will be cooking for over 100 people. Prepping for dinner today really helped us to get a feel for how the kitchen works.
I feel so privileged to be serving here at TCM. God’s presence is felt in everything we do and in all of our interactions. There work that is done here is critical to advancing God’s kingdom here in Europe. I am looking forward to meeting the students; I have heard so much about how dedicated and hard-working they are. What joy that tomorrow this place, located in a small town in Austria, will be filled with people who love the Lord!!!
Feeling Blessed and grateful,
Mikki
