Our last day in Poland started with goodbyes all around as we said farewell to Ostroda Camp and the camp staff. This place is special, and none who come here leave unchanged. We proceeded to a day of shopping and sightseeing in Warsaw and capped the day with a dinner at Kazik Barszuk’s home.
During dinner, there was much sharing of what we experienced during our time in Ostroda, lessons learned, memories made, and talk of future plans. We were blessed to be able to hear from Kazik of what he has experienced in the years he’s been involved with bringing Holocaust Survivors to Ostroda. He shared that many of them have found their true Messiah. While we sow seeds of love, we seldom see the fruit. But God knows their hearts and ours, and He brings the increase.
