We heard from one of Compassion’s new partners from Israel today. Netivah is a Jewish Christian (or Messianic Jewish) ministry that works with students and soldiers in Israel. Their team led us in Jewish song and dance, and one young man with the group shared about his struggles as a Christ-follower in a school where others do not accept Jesus’s position as Messiah.
There is also a group of Ukranian Jews at the camp—another example of the diversity represented here. It was exciting to look out over an expansive lawn this afternoon and see Jewish, Arab, and Polish people gathered in a circle. It was not a planned activity but emerged from a desire to share in life together. God is moving and blessing.
