Today we visited a church in San Pedro for a night service. When we got there, we were greeted with open arms by many Ecuadorians. The service consisted of many worship songs, in Spanish and English, with our own Katie Kavanaugh singing with Andreina. Then, much to our surprise, they invited us to sing reckless love in front of the whole congregation. After worship, we played a few games with the whole congregation that quickly became very competitive. The service was very intriguing and inviting for us and with the help of the church, we all had an amazing experience.

We started the day in Bolivar with a visit to our friend, Claudio. Claudio told us about how God has blessed him and about his days as a soccer player. Later that day the guys played a soccer match with the local boys, while the girls served in the local women’s ministry. Later that evening we were invited to attend church in San Pedro and worshipped with the locals. The locals were very welcoming and played games with us. The team was invited to sing in front the church and decided to sing Reckless Love with Jeff on the Ukulele. Later, the local band joined in with us and it was amazing to see both nations worshipping together.
