Well, another amazing day! We spent the morning with Tommy, one of Verve’s staff members (who also is now a tattoo artist and has an incredible ministry). He spoke with us this morning about relational evangelism. Through his testimony he shared why He feels so passionate about building relationships with those who are far from God. You should ask us when we get back to tell you some more about Tommy – he has a great and motivational story. After the seminar we hit the neighborhoods again and had lunch with Kandyss (another staff member).
This afternoon we spent 3 hours prepping for Easter weekend at Verve …. Lots of Easter eggs, bunny faces, and chicks! Jessi and Tony (a couple at Verve) opened their home to us for dinner where we enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal.
We just got back to the hotel after Chalking the Block at UNLV. We really enjoyed that – had a few good conversations and prayed for the campus. We are truly enjoying every moment out here. Not only are we able to help in some small ways to support Verve and shine HIS light in a dark place – we are also being changed, molded, and growing closer with God. We have gained so much insight from what they are doing out here and how they are doing it, and we’re looking forward to bringing it back to Savannah. Tomorrow is our last day in Vegas, very bitter-sweet. Thank you everyone for the prayers this week, they have been felt!
