Trip Description
GO Tennessee Middle School 2
Middle School Students, this trip is for you! The Ability Ministry (formerly CCDM) in Tennessee is a ministry for adults with special needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve and have fun with this amazing community of people! You will travel to the beautiful hills of Tennessee near Knoxville, to work at Riverwood, a residential facility. During the daytime the team works at the facility to do maintenance on the facility and special projects for the residents. Service opportunities include landscaping, cleaning projects and more. The most special part of the trip, however is sharing meals with the residents and getting to know them!
Applications must be submitted for review by the Student Ministries Team no later than January 15, 2017. Once applications are reviewed, students will be scheduled for an informal interview with a Student Pastor. If accepted, you will be asked to submit a $25 deposit which will confirm your spot on the team.
For more information about this trip please email the team leader, John-Mark Romans, at jmromans@compassionchristian.com.
