Middle School Students, this trip is for you! Are you planning to go on a week-long Student Team this summer? Or maybe you’re not sure you’re ready to take the leap or what the point of ‘missions’ is? This trip was designed just for you. This is a exciting weekend adventure, unlike any of our other trips! Spend two nights immersed in another culture, in the beautiful woodlands of North Carolina. This trip is designed to expose you to God’s heart for the Nations without ever having to leave the country! Camp in the woods, go off-roading, hear the amazing stories of missionaries from all over the world, and expand your vision of God’s mission and the invaluable role you play in it. Every time we send a team to JAARS they come back changed by the experience – don’t miss out!
Note: This trip is a camping experience and requires good health and ability to engage in physical activity.
For more information about this trip please contact the Team Leader, Elliott Sereff, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applying for a GO Team does not confirm your spot on the team. Once applications have been reviewed, you will be notified of your acceptance or status on a waiting list. If accepted, you will be asked to submit your $25 deposit which will confirm your position on the team.
We’re a nonprofit that provides technical support services such as aviation, information technology, and media to advance Bible translation and literacy programs worldwide. Our work impacts teams with SIL International, the Wycliffe Global Alliance, and many related organizations.
When our organization began in 1948, we offered two services: aviation and radio. We were appropriately named “Jungle Aviation and Radio Service” and often went by our acronym, “J.A.A.R.S.”
However, for more than 60 years we have consistently expanded our support services to meet the changing needs of translation teams. In 1986, to reflect the diversity of our services, the acronym was dropped and we became known simply as “JAARS.”Visit Partner Website
