If this is your first time on a GO Team or if you have a heart for practical service opportunities, our trip to the Ability Ministry in Tennessee is for you! You will travel to the beautiful hills of Tennessee near Knoxville, to serve at Riverwood, a residential facility for adults with special needs. You will never view this community of people the same way after spending time with them at Riverwood. Come experience God’s heart in a totally new way through their eyes and learn how to love unconditionally.
During the daytime the team works at the facility to do maintenance on the facility and special projects for the residents. Service opportunities include landscaping, cleaning projects and more. The most special part of the trip, however is sharing meals with the residents and getting to know them! What a blessing it is to become friends with these very special people!
For more information about this trip please contact the Team Leader, Dean DeLoach, at email@example.com.
Note: Applying for a GO Team does not confirm your spot on the team. Once applications have been reviewed, you will be notified of your acceptance or status on a waiting list. If accepted, you will be asked to submit your $25 deposit which will confirm your position on the team.
