Hola a todos! I’m glad we got a little bit more sleep for today to love on the wonderful people here, and amazing breakfast to be energized to play. We were blessed with no rain and an awesome breeze today to accompany our experiences today. We traveled to Bolivar and began with a study to dive in each of our purposes in the mission field. After lunch, the team got split into different groups to help the community: a few went house visiting, some stayed in the church area for arts and crafts, some went to the nearby school to help teach English, and most of the boys stayed to play fútbol of course. I went to the school, and it was an honoring experience even though I was the one who knew English. Just seeing those kids being entertained by the pronunciations and asking me so many questions was uplifting because God was reminding me that I had a huge purpose in being there, no matter what it was. It was hard enough for me to leave them today to go home!

I played fútbol of course. I made many new friends, fútbol really gave us a bond even though every time a kid asked me something I just smiled and nodded my head. I love teaching the kids English. I think it really brings us a bond. After fútbol we went on a beautiful walk to the beach. On the way we walked through the nice town of Bolivar. There was lots of dogs with open wounds and I wanted to help but I knew I couldn’t. When we got to the beach the waves were big. But then I ran out when I saw a jellyfish. Then we went back back to the village and had supper. I missed half of dinner to learn a locals marble game. Then we got on a bus and drove back to Curia. We just had our God sightings moment and now we are getting ready for bed.
